EDITORIAL

Fall is here, and so is our October/November edition. It is time to put our shorts and bikinis in our suitcases and take out the raincoats, sweaters, and umbrellas and of course all the fun, because the rain and the cold is not a reason to stay at home. Read the articles written by Marijn about Dutch beers and Matt about bars here in downtown and you might discover new places to hang out with your friends on Friday night.

But if you still don’t want to go out because of the cold weather, you can go shopping –one of the favorite “sports” here in EF- and that’s why our expert in shopping, Anne-Aymone, went out and visited almost all the shops here in the Greater Vancouver area and made an excellent article about the hottest places to shop, featuring Robson St. and Metrotown.

Another amazing piece of writing is Daphne’s “Reality shows” review. She spent a lot of time watching “all” the reality shows on T.V., so if you like to know all about these kinds of programs, don’t buy the next T.V. magazine, just read her article.

I wrote about an incredible place here in Canada, Niagara Falls, a magical trip that if you have the opportunity to go, do it. I have explained different ways to see this beautiful place; don’t miss my description and details of this part of the country.

In this very special edition, I proudly present the horoscope for this month. Thanks to our exclusive, beautiful, crazy, psychics Nini and Daffieou have this once-in-a-life-time- chance to know your very own future. They studied in The Netherlands all about stars and planets. In other words, they know all about astrology and they wanted to share their knowledge with you.

Jodi Muzylowski is our profile for this edition. Here you can find everything you want to know about our Film teacher. She was in charge of the “Welcome Video” for the New EF Vancouver Students.

There’s an article written by Nienke, a bus story, where she compares the buses of Vancouver with the buses in her country. I think at some point in our travels we all have thought about this and other things that she has written.

Mauricio, from Mexico, -not me- wrote an excellent article about The 4th Europe-Latin America Biarritz FORUM at Valle de Bravo Mexico. He explains what this is about, and the importance of that meeting which involves America and Europe.

Buchart Gardens has an article written by Maria, in which explains and recommends this unique place located on Vancouver Island and where you should go after you take the ferry to the Island. But first I want to recommend that you read very carefully this piece before you departure.

Last but not least, Nienke wrote about a sweet history that took place at the Waterfront. Love is everywhere and especially in the Waterfront, so who knows if Cupid will take you there to meet your honey?

Get pleasure from all the cool activities and beautiful places you can go. This is our work for you guys. I hope you enjoy the October/November EF Insider edition.
