Editorial: September AY good-bye By Katharina Schroers Everything started about 8 months ago when a group of disorientated people arrived in Vancouver. Nobody knew what would happen during the nine months we would spend here. Even if it was maybe a little bit difficult in the beginning, we soon found out how things worked. We started making friends, we went together on trips, and had lots of fun together. From time to time the going got a little bit tough because of all the people we saw leaving. You just met them and some weeks later they are going back home and you probably won’t ever see them again. I guess every one of us thought at that moment that we would have so much time left, but now it’s almost time for us to go. One of the best things here is that you never know what’s going to happen. Everything is changing so fast that you often just stop thinking and just do what you have to do. Most of the time these are things that you would never do back home. But the best thing here is that you can just enjoy everything, and that’s what we mostly did. The only problem here is that you think at the beginning that you have plenty of time, but in fact time flies. The thing that we’ve learned here is to stop waiting for tomorrow and to do things now; otherwise it’s to late. So the only things that are left to say now is that we had an awesome time here and it’s always going to be in our memory. Even if everybody is going home, now we really hope that we’ll see at least some of you again. We wish you the very best for your future!!!
