What's a Canadian?

Well THERE'S a question that I've been asked about one or two hundred times! My answer? "Ahh, I don't know, but we're not American!" As Canadians, many of us have some difficulties explaining who we are. In this July issue of the Insider, Flurin gives us a little background on Canada Day (July 1), which will hopefully give you some of the history of our country. On the same theme, Manouk gives us her opinion on the differences between Canadians, Americans, Brits, and Aussies.

In our Profiles section, Roger introduces us to a true hockey lovin Canadian (Gord) and a Japanese Kamikaze with a Canadian nickname (Yuzo).

We do step away from Canada for a few pages as both Manouk and Flurin give us some cultural insight into Holland and the Rhine Valley respectively. Jerry also does some reminiscing back to the World Cup Soccer Tournament in Korea.

But in this issue, we never escape too far away from Canada and there's no better way of ending an issue than by having a little discussion on Fast Food (see Erik) and Beer (see Roger).

Happy Canada Day everyone!
